As domestic abuse services were cut and women continued to be killed every few days, we wanted to show this was a national emergency. With the election on the horizon, domestic abuse was still being treated as a luxury in government budgets. We spent two months analysing ten years of data to tell a new story, and the findings reached Parliament.
